Taplite (taplite.store) is a point-of-sale platform aimed at small shops and services across Pakistan: staff can run sales from Android devices in the lane and managers can use the web app for back office, stock, and reporting. The product is built for unreliable networks and busy counters—clear flows, fast item lookup, and roles that match how real stores operate.
AI is integrated into the product where it helps day-to-day work: think smarter search over inventory and past sales, natural-language summaries for owners, and guardrails so suggestions stay on-policy for regulated receipts and taxes. The goal is not novelty it is less time on the keyboard and fewer mistakes at closing time.
